Yesterday, purchasing willingness from downstream metal plants increased, leading to a rise in market trading activity. The price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide experienced a slight overall increase, and low-priced sources of goods became increasingly difficult to find. However, inquiry and purchasing activity for medium and heavy rare earth oxides remained sluggish, with their price fluctuations still relatively small.
Rare Earth Ore
- Prices: The price of rare earth carbonate is approximately 44,000 yuan/ton, monazite is about 50,600 yuan/ton, and medium yttrium-europium-rich concentrate is around 206,000 yuan/ton.
- Supply & Demand: Recently, there has been no significant improvement in the operating rates of separation plants. Trading in the rare earth ore market remains quiet, and ore holders continue to face difficulties in selling their cargo.
Rare Earth Oxides
- Prices: Inquiry prices for praseodymium-neodymium oxide are in the range of 543,000 – 546,000 yuan/ton. The mainstream transaction range for dysprosium oxide is 1.49 – 1.53 million yuan/ton. Terbium oxide prices are quoted in the range of 6.56 – 6.60 million yuan/ton.

Rare Earth Metals
- Prices: The mainstream price range for praseodymium-neodymium metal is 665,000 – 675,000 yuan/ton. Dysprosium-iron alloy is quoted at approximately 1.47 – 1.49 million yuan/ton. Terbium metal is quoted in the range of 8.15 – 8.20 million yuan/ton.
- Supply & Demand: Yesterday, the price of praseodymium-neodymium metal saw a slight increase, primarily supported by rising oxide costs, leading to slightly higher quoted prices. However, the actual transaction price focus did not move up correspondingly, as downstream purchases remained cautious and were mostly based on immediate needs. In the medium and heavy rare earth market, inquiries remained subdued, and prices generally trended weaker.
