Yesterday, influenced by market news, holders slightly raised their offers. However, downstream metal plants’ willingness to accept goods remained poor, making high-price transactions difficult. Some holders subsequently lowered their quotes again, leading to another slight decline in praseodymium-neodymium oxide prices.
Rare Earth Ore
- Prices: Rare earth carbonate prices are approximately 41,300 yuan/ton, monazite prices are about 47,500 yuan/ton, and the standard grade of medium yttrium-europium-rich ore is around 200,000 yuan/ton.
- Supply & Demand: Recently, prices for rare earth ore products have experienced a slight downward trend. Ionic ore products are particularly difficult to sell, as separation plants’ purchasing willingness remains low. Ore holders are eager to sell, leading to lower offers.
Rare Earth Oxides
- Prices: Inquiry prices for praseodymium-neodymium oxide ranged between 505,000 – 510,000 yuan/ton. The mainstream transaction range for dysprosium oxide was 1.54 – 1.56 million yuan/ton, and terbium oxide offers were around 6.65 – 6.75 million yuan/ton.
- Supply & Demand: Yesterday, influenced by market news, holders raised their offers. However, downstream metal plants’ willingness to accept goods remained weak, making high-price transactions difficult. Some holders subsequently lowered their quotes again, causing praseodymium-neodymium oxide prices to experience a slight decline.
Rare Earth Metals
- Prices: The mainstream offer range for praseodymium-neodymium metal was 610,000 – 615,000 yuan/ton. Dysprosium-iron alloy offers were about 1.50 – 1.52 million yuan/ton, and terbium metal offers were approximately 8.35 – 8.40 million yuan/ton.
- Supply & Demand: Yesterday, although the metal market saw slight price increases supported by oxide costs, downstream purchasing willingness was weak. Market inquiries were quiet, and overall trading activity was poor. Due to difficulty in concluding high-price transactions, some metal companies lowered their offers, leading to a slight decline in praseodymium-neodymium metal prices in the afternoon.
NdFeB Blank (Green)
- Prices: NdFeB blank N38 (Ce) was quoted at 180 – 190 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 40M was quoted at 226 – 236 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 40H was quoted at 230 – 240 yuan/kg; NdFeB blank 45SH (Ce) was quoted at 280 – 300 yuan/kg.
- Supply & Demand: Yesterday, magnet material quotations initially remained stable, with moderate trading activity. Rising costs of raw materials praseodymium-neodymium oxide and metal provided support. However, affected by the off-season for terminal consumption, demand from motor plants and end-user sectors for NdFeB was limited, resulting in generally moderate trading activity.
NdFeB Scrap
- Prices: The praseodymium-neodymium content in NdFeB scrap was quoted at 535 – 545 yuan/kg; the dysprosium content was quoted at 1500 – 1520 yuan/kg; the terbium content was quoted at 5300 – 5500 yuan/kg.
- Supply & Demand: Yesterday, prices for magnet scrap saw a slight increase, primarily influenced by the rise in oxide prices. As scrap holders showed weak willingness to sell, recycling companies proactively raised their purchase offers. The overall market trading situation improved somewhat.
