Function

Mepiquat chlorid has a retarding effect on the vegetative growth of the plant.

The mepiquat chloride can be absorbed by the leaves and roots of the plant and transmitted to the whole plant, which can reduce the activity of gibberellin in the plant, thereby inhibiting cell elongation, weakening of the top bud and controlling the plant.

Vertical and horizontal growth, shortening plant internodes, compact plant type, deep leaf color, reduced leaf area, and enhanced chlorophyll synthesis, can prevent plant growth, delay sealing and so on.
